Our Face Painting Team

I was born and brought up in Halifax and  left to travel at the age of twenty. I lived in Alberta and BC for thirteen years and during that time visited China, traveled through Thailand and trekked in Nepal. I am a self taught artist and have progressed artistically over the years by practicing in many different medias from watercolor painting,hanging fish wall art, bark frames to graphic design. I discovered the joy of painting  wall murals in 2001 and started a business creating beautiful painted rooms for children. I work full time for the  Halifax school board assisting children with special needs. I am a dedicated mom to my seven year old daughter who was the inspiration behind my face painting. I painted faces at her third  birthday party and she and her friends absolutely loved it!This inspired me to want to continue and put all my creative energy into the art of face and body painting . As a result my unique business has allowed me to continually evolve as a business owner and artist. What a great feeling to see a child's face light up when they look in the mirror and discover a magical face !

Joy Hillier is studying to be a vet technician and works with us as a face painter on her time off.She is very artistic and has worked very hard in developing her talent as a face painter.She is friendly, has a great sense of humor, and adds her own unique flair to the designs from beginning to end!

Stephanie Vincent is our youngest staff member and very talented .  She enjoys acting and has performed and played roles in many different musicals at the Unicorn Theater. She teaches children at summer drama camp and  has a wide variety of interests including piano, dancing, and face painting.  She is definitely becoming known for her beautiful flower faces!



Andrea Thorne has come from Ontario and is now residing here in Halifax. She spends her days working at a natural health food store. She enjoys travel, gardening and creating art with stained glass. She is very creative and adds originality and style to her face painting

Erika Daley is a high school student and is a hard worker in all that she does. She is great with children. Along with face painting she also coaches gymnastics.Erika has a great talent for face painting and we are happy to have her as part of our team.
